This past few months my laptop gave me a headache...
It's acting so strange by giving me weird display.
Display is so messed up. Color quality is set to lowest and screen turns to 8 separate display showing the same. It really pissed me off..!

Before it happened, I noticed that there is a spot in my laptop that is getting too hot. I just ignore it assuming it is normal. Then I read an article about it saying it is the processor. DAMN! Im doomed....!

Fortunately I found another article on how to rectify this problem. one is the easy way, the other is more technical, last is to send it to the service center and pay 200 USD. I did the easy way first. It fixed the prolem but after a few minutes... problem came back. So I decided to strip it down. I found out that the thermal compound of both processor and the GPU(graphics processing unit) or the video chip is already burned out. WHY???? The culprit is.... the cooling fan! Cooling fins were blocked by a patch of accumuted dust. So I removed and cleaned it. Put new thermal compound on top of both ICs and assembled my laptop again. By the way, thermal compound is like a clay or putty used to disperse heat from the IC to the heat sink.

So... with all of those techy works... my laptop was resurrected....! IT'S ALIVE..! BWAHAHAHAHAHA..! Screw you service center! you can't have my money...!

Lesson is: Do wait until it's too late. Tama ba????

Also... DA is back to normal again. Last month I need to use proxies just to display the pages of DA.
